For some of our long-term members, if you cast your memory back to 2015, we had our incredible peated night of delicious goodies, and we’re back in 2017 with a vengeance!
This is the return of our Peat Bar, at a whole new venue for you to buy and savour drams by the dram in a warm and social atmosphere.
What you need to know:
1. There are at LEAST 10 Society single cask single malt peated whiskies on taste and for sale by the dram.
2. Dram prices will range from $15-$60 per 30ml dram (note that most of our events feature whisky at 15ml tastes).
3. The booking fee is only $30. This includes light supper/finger food and your welcome dram.
4. There will be a regular bar of beers available on the night.
5. A casual evening of good peat, good social times.
6. The peated whiskies will be available per/dram on the night which you’ll be able to use either cash or credit card to purchase (tap & go).
7. A new venue for us at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music ‘Music Cafe’ – across the road essentially from the Royal Automobile Club.
8. There will be new releases, a couple of core range offerings, and some rather rare SMWS casks. Most of the bottlings will be available to order on the night.
We have a MAXIMUM of 70 x tickets available, so get in quick for this truly memorable Friday evening Peat Bar!
