HERESY HISTORY
Part 2 of 3 events in the distillery at Archie Rose as part of our SMWS pop-up with this legendary Partner Bar: Heresy History. Back in 2017 the Scotch Malt Whisky Society caused waves in the membership base when we first released a blended malt, called Exotic Cargo. A full-sherry maturation, 10 year old, blended malt bottled at 50%. This isn’t single cask whisky?! All outrage was quelled once it was tasted. Incredible. Since then, we’ve released Peat Faerie, Old Fashioned, Beachcomber and others. To celebrate this history, at the very location where we launched Exotic Cargo to begin, we’ll be opening ALL the heresy history in this one-off event for members of the SMWS + guests. Take a trip back in time with Heresy History as part of our August ‘Flavour Invasion’ time travel Outturn! Tickets strictly limited to allow for social distancing.
Friday 21 August 7pm start, Archie Rose Distillery, 85 Dunning Ave, Rosebery NSW. Members, guests, partners welcome. Tickets $79 members / $99 non-members. Join us after for some drams at the bar for the SMWS takeover of Archie Rose for 3 x nights starting that night.
