Membership

Membership to the Society is on a yearly basis, with automatic renewal available. Upon joining the Society you will receive a 700 ml bottle of one of the Society's high quality single malt whiskies (see below), a Membership card, plus assorted information on whiskies, the distilleries and a distillery map.

As a member, you will be advised of any new additions to the bottling list as well of any tastings or other Society events where you will have the opportunity to meet other members and discuss your mutual interest - whisky!

In addition, as a member you will have the opportunity to purchase the wide range of whisky gifts and accessories showcased in the Whisky & Gift Shop section, as well as enjoying the Members' room in London, Edinburgh and Switzerland when travelling overseas. This is a global Society and all members are entitled to attend world-wide Society tastings and events in any of the other 9 countries where we are active. Since the number of countries continues to expand please see the latest listing on the Home Page under SMWS Worldwide.

Membership Pack

Your membership pack consists of:

•  A 700ml bottle of a high quality Society single malt whisky
•  A Society membership card issued by Head Office in Scotland providing access to Members Rooms in Edinburgh, London and Switzerland
• A Members Handbook
• A Society lapel badge or keyring
• A distillery map and other assorted information all about the Society whiskies and the distilleries.
